Built for People. Readable by Machines.
Your website now has three audiences: the customer, Google, and the AI systems deciding whether to quote you. Most sites are built for one of them.
What Goes Into a 2026 Website
Speed Engineering
Compressed images, minimal JavaScript, cached assets. We target 90+ on real mobile hardware, not a desktop test that flatters everyone.
Machine-Readable HTML
Your text ships in the raw HTML. Pages that assemble themselves in the browser can read as blank to AI crawlers that skip JavaScript.
Structured Data Built In
Organisation, Service, FAQ and Breadcrumb schema from day one — not retrofitted by an SEO six months later.
Mobile-First, Genuinely
Designed at phone width first, then scaled up. Most of your visitors will never load the desktop layout.
Accessibility Baseline
Real contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, focus states and labelled form fields. Increasingly a legal expectation, not a nice-to-have.
Lead Capture That Works
Forms that email you, store a copy, and block spam — tested end to end before launch, not assumed to work.
From First Call to Live
A website used to be judged by how it looked. In 2026 it is judged three times: by a person deciding whether to trust you, by Google deciding whether to rank you, and by an AI system deciding whether to quote you. The same build has to satisfy all three.
Discovery
We start with your business, not your website. Who buys, what stops them, what competitors do well. That becomes a one-page brief you approve before design begins.
Design
You see a real design of your actual homepage — your copy, your products, your colours — before any code is written. Revisions happen here, where they cost minutes instead of days.
Build
Hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No page-builder bloat, no thirty plugins waiting to break. Everything a search engine or AI crawler needs is present in the source.
Launch & handover
We deploy, connect your domain, install SSL, submit your sitemap, and hand over the logins. You own the files and the hosting outright.
Exactly What Lands in Your Hands
Every page, fully built
Home, services, about, contact and legal pages — written and laid out, not filled with placeholder text.
Responsive on real devices
Tested on actual phones, not just a browser window dragged narrow.
Working forms
Email notification, stored copy, spam protection. Verified with a live test before we call it finished.
Technical SEO baseline
Clean URLs, unique titles and descriptions, schema, sitemap, robots.txt, canonical tags.
Performance budget
Compressed images, deferred scripts, cached assets — with the numbers shown to you, not claimed.
Full ownership
Source files, hosting access, domain control. No platform lock-in and no licence fee holding your site hostage.
Typical timeline: a landing page takes 1–2 weeks, a business website 2–4 weeks, an e-commerce store or custom web app 4–8 weeks. The variable is almost never the code — it is how fast content, photos and approvals come back from your side. We name those dependencies upfront so nothing stalls silently.
Website Design & Development — Answered Honestly
Sometimes you should — if you will genuinely edit the site weekly, a CMS earns its keep. But builders ship enormous amounts of code you never use, and that shows up as slow loading and messy HTML. For a site that changes a few times a year, hand-coded is faster, cheaper to host, and far easier for search engines and AI systems to read.
It helps enormously but it is not a blocker. If you have brand photography and copy, we use it. If not, we write the copy and source licensed imagery. Either way you approve everything before it goes live.
Yes, and this is where most rebuilds go wrong. We map every existing URL, carry rankings across with 301 redirects, preserve titles and content structure, then watch Search Console after launch to catch anything that slipped. A rebuild that skips the redirect map can erase years of ranking overnight.
It means the words on your page exist in the file the server sends, rather than being drawn in afterwards by JavaScript. Many AI crawlers do not wait for scripts to run. If your pricing, FAQs or service descriptions only appear after JavaScript executes, an AI system may see an empty page and quote a competitor instead.
Small text and image edits are included for the first 30 days. After that you can request changes as needed, or take a monthly care plan covering updates, backups, security patching and uptime monitoring. Nothing is forced — you own the site either way.
