AI Use Policy
We use AI tools in some of the work. Rather than leave that implied, here is exactly where, exactly where not, and what it means for anything you send us.
Where we use AI
- Research and structure. Summarising sources, drafting outlines, suggesting the questions a page should answer.
- First drafts. Never the final text. Everything published under your name is edited by a person who adds what the tool cannot know: your numbers, your examples, your judgement.
- Code assistance. Boilerplate, refactoring, spotting mistakes. Every line is read and tested before it ships.
- Image and video editing. Background removal, upscaling, cleanup.
Where we deliberately do not
- We do not publish unedited AI output. Fluent text that says nothing new is exactly what Google means by unhelpful content, and it does not get cited by answer engines either.
- We do not fabricate anything. No invented statistics, case studies, reviews or quotes — from a tool or otherwise.
- We do not generate images of real people or anything designed to look like a photograph of an event that did not happen.
- We do not use AI to make decisions about you. No automated scoring of clients or applicants.
Your data and AI tools
We do not paste your confidential material into public AI tools. Client contracts, credentials, customer lists, unreleased plans and anything under NDA stay out of them entirely.
Where a tool is used on project material, we use business-tier services configured so submissions are not used to train models. If you would prefer no AI assistance at all on your project, say so and we will work that way — it costs a little more time and we will tell you how much before starting.
Telling you about it
If you ask whether AI was involved in a specific deliverable, you get a straight answer. We think that is the whole of the obligation: not a badge on every page, but never a denial either.
Our own tools
The AI search checker analyses whether your page can be quoted by answer engines. It reads the public HTML of a URL you provide. It does not send your content to a third-party model, and it stores nothing beyond a short cache of the public page.
