Logo Maker

Build a clean wordmark and download it as SVG — the format a printer, a sign maker or a developer will actually ask you for.

What this is honest about

This makes a type-based wordmark — a name, set well, with an optional simple shape. That is what most small businesses actually need. It does not draw custom illustration, and no free tool does. If you need a designed symbol, that is a person's job, not a generator's.

Every logo needs to survive in one colour — a fax, an engraving, a stamp. If it falls apart here, rethink it.

Give the SVG to anyone printing or building anything. It stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a van.

Why SVG matters more than PNG

SVG is instructions, not pixels. Scale it to a billboard and it stays perfectly sharp. Every printer, sign maker and developer will ask for it first. The PNG is for places that cannot take SVG — some social profiles, some older systems.

A caveat about typefaces

The SVG references a font by name, it does not embed it. On a machine without that font installed, it falls back to something similar. For anything going to print, ask your designer or printer to convert the text to outlines first — one click in any vector editor, and then it is fixed forever.

When a wordmark is enough

Most of the brands you can name are wordmarks. A well-set name in a considered typeface, used consistently, beats a mediocre icon every time. Spend the money on using it consistently rather than on drawing it.

When it is not

If you need an app icon, a favicon that reads at 16 pixels, or a symbol that works without the name beside it — that is design work, not generation. It is what our brand packages cover.
